Juventus-bound Gonzalo Higuain is eager to make a Chelsea exit this summer, according to the Sun.
The Argentine striker endured a mediocre loan spell with the Blues since joining them in January. He has bagged only 5 goals in 16 matches this season.
With the Blues neither ready to extend his loan spell nor trigger his release clause, Higuain is seemingly eyeing for an exit this Summer.
Prior to his move to the Stamford Bridge, the 31-year-old spent an interim loan spell with AC Milan where he also didn’t fare well. And now Higuain is dreaming of a partnership with talisman Cristiano Ronaldo like he had at Real Madrid years ago.
Moreover, Blues manager Maurizio Sarri is also linked with a move to Turin, another reason which might have excited Higuain to prompt an exit.
The Italian manager hasn’t gone down well with the players and fans despite his decent first season at Stamford Bridge. The Londoners are currently facing a ban for the next two transfer windows.
Having already qualified for the next season’s Champions League, the Blues are set to face Arsenal in the Europa League final at Baku.
