Fabrizio Romano reveals Thiago Silva has received an offer from Brazilian club Fluminense

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has received a proposal from his childhood Brazilian club Fluminense, as they hope to bring the centre-back back to Brazil when his time with the Blues comes to an end after this season.

The 39-year-old will ponder his decision before making any moves after the end of the season. However, regardless of his transfer to any club, the former AC Milan defender’s kids will remain at Chelsea.

Silva recently announced in an emotional video in an emotional video that he will leave Chelsea after the end of the season, ending his five-year stint at Chelsea. The centre-back joined the Blues in 2019 and became a prominent figure at the club.

Many clubs have been lined up to sign Silva and even teams from London want to sign the defender, and now it remains to be seen where the 39-year-old will prefer to go after the end of the season. Given that his kids will remain at Chelsea, he can also opt to join a London club.

The centre-back’s performance this season has demonstrated that he is still at the summit of his game, and any team would be happy to have him on board should he want to join them. Silva has performed admirably during this year, so it won’t be surprising if he stayed in Europe.

Thiago Silva will decide his next club after the end of the season.

Since Silva still has it in him to perform adequately in every game, Chelsea supporters would be hoping that Silva’s contract was extended for an additional year. The Brazilian will make an informed decision about his future since, should he believe he is good enough to play in the Premier League, he may choose to sign with London teams that have presented contract offers to him.
