Balotelli has worked under Jose Mourinho in the past when the pair were at Inter and AC Milan aren’t exactly having a good season – they sit in 11th and have just sacked their manager. So a link between the two was natural.
However, after the forward came out to say that is unlikely to move, the odds of him leaving severely dropped. Milan are now favourites to be in control of Balotelli when the transfer window closes, but Chelsea are next with 888sport at a reasonable 6/1.
Balotelli joined Milan in January of last year and went on to score 12 goals in 13 games. This season has been a tricky one for the Italian giants but individually the 22-year-old has still managed to shine, scoring 10 in 22.
For me the move would be good the Blues as Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres are hardly going to set the league alight.
