Chelsea are set to battle it out against Everton for Sporting Lisbon Star Willian Carvalho’s signature as both the clubs look to reinforce their midfields.
Chelsea are looking out for a £30m rated Willian Carvalho for a potential transfer move, however the Blues will be facing stiff competition from Everton for the player. The player has been linked with a move away from Portugal this summer and as of now Everton are supposedly leading the race to sign the player.
Chelsea and Everton were earlier looking to sign Kalidou Koulibaly into their respective squad. And reports were there that Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is willing to match Chelsea’s offer for the player. Koulibaly’s agent does state that the player has not renewed his contract with Napoli and is set to leave the Italian club however where he will end up after he moves out of his current club is yet to be seen, Chelsea being the preferred choice and Everton still determined to sign the player.
