Romelu Lukaku left Chelsea two seasons ago to try his trade at Everton. He has done quite well for himself given the stature of the club and kept the club in competitive position by scoring 25 goals.
Now Chelsea are willing to buy the Belgian player back from Everton in the summer. The incoming boss Antonio Conte is not too sure about Diego Costa and wants to add more reliable firepower up front. Give Lukaku’s form can’t really blame the Italian for being interested in the player. Lukaku himself has expressed interest in playing for a bigger club and Chelsea are interested to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
The player has gathered interest from several top European clubs, but has mentioned that he is comfortable at the Premier League and would prefer to stay in England if given a choice. In a recent interview when asked what he thought about a move to Chelsea he smiled and replied “We’ll see”. Now that’s a very shady message for the fans!
