Chelsea Football Club is at crossroads at the moment. After a horror season being out of the top four, this summer transfer window will be the difference if Chelsea return to the top or stand a risk of being mid table which is mediocre by Chelsea standards. Roman Abramovich has his work cut out and this summer can literally make or break Chelsea and it’s future.

Antonio Conte is appointed the next boss to take over the reigns from Guus Hiddink and the Italian faces the toughest job of his career. He is the 10th manager of the Roman era and he has to deliver at any cost. There won’t any financial issues that he faced at Juventus and Conte can buy according to his demands.

Many positions need an upgrade and one of the most important position will be of the striker. It is rumoured that Diego Costa in unhappy at the club and wants to return to Atletico Madrid. If that happens, the blues should be prepared for the life after the notorious Spaniard. Even is Costa stays at the club, there is an alarming need for someone who can partner him upfront and what the Club is lacking is a Didier Drogba type of a player, a towering forward with a presence in the box and good in the air and with the ball too. Such strikers are not easily available but let’s take a look at the three Drogba like strikers that can be a huge success at Stamford Bridge:

1. Edinson Cavani:

The Uruguayan is working on a move away from the French capital and he is being linked to Chelsea since many years. This seems the perfect opportunity for him to come to Chelsea and prove himself in the Premier League. It’s speculated that Conte wants to bring him and Cavani himself has stated that he is not happy playing on the wings to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Cavani is tailor-made for the blues and for the right amount, he can be a Chelsea player in the summer.
