Cech pleased to be back … with comeback
Goalkeeper Petr Cech is delighted to be back in the starting line-up against Sunderland, especially as he was expected to miss most of September.

Well … we have already played four games, which has seen the Blues pick up ten points thanks to three wins and a draw.

Sometimes, the scoreline doesn’t actually reflect what happened in the match and today was one of those for Chelsea, the Blues thoroughly dominated the game came and finished eventual winners in a 2-1 victory over Sunderland courtesy of two fantastic goals from John Terry and young Daniel Sturridge.

Didier Drogba is facing a battle with fitness to be fit for Chelsea’s clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford as he continues to recover from the head injury he received against Norwich.
Bolton was the best option …
Gael Kakuta revealed the reasons behind leaving Chelsea to Bolton on loan. According to Gael, he chose to go to Bolton and not Fulham or a club in France because team-mate Daniel Sturridge had spoken highly of the club and its manager’s ability to inspire young players to exhibit their hidden talents.
The Return of the Big Man …
The only way I can explain the difference between Hilario and Cech is by likening Hilario to water and Cech to orange juice. Water and orange juice are both good for you, but drinking water immediately after orange juice leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
Changes need to be made …
After the inconvenience of the Internationals we can finally get back to club action, it did seem a bad idea to have a break after just three games but that is another story.

A good lot of things have happened since my last blog. A fighting draw at Stoke, then a last gasp winner against West Brom, plus the signing of ‘Mata’ who scored on his debut, and let us not forget about deadline day signing of Raul Meireles.
