Thiago Silva sends message to Chelsea fans after ‘magical night’ vs Everton

Thiago Silva shares his contentment on Instagram after Chelsea’s 6-0 win over Everton

Following Chelsea’s 6-0 thrashing of Everton, the Blues’ players will be brimming with confidence as they next face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. Blues star Thiago Silva sent a message to the fans ahead of the City clash.

He took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself with the caption, ‘’Magical night at the Bridge. See you on Saturday.’’ With a blue emoji.

Chelsea’s 6-0 victory over the Toffees shows that we have a team full of characteristics that can compete with any team this year and this victory will greatly inspire the team ahead of the FA Cup match against City.

This season, we have been unbeaten in the Premier League against City, drawing twice. If we manage to secure a spot in the FA Cup final, it will be the second final in the domestic cup competition under Mauricio Pochettino.

Silva, who was in the starting lineup against the Toffees, was excellent at the back and provided his much-needed experience to earn the Blues a clean sheet after a very long time, given the club’s poor record of conceding goals in the Premier League.

The Brazilian will be hoping to be in the lineup as we will be facing one of the most formidable sides in the Premier League. In our 4-4 draw with City, Silva showed his experience when he scored the Blues opening goal.

His message on Instagram indicates that he will be prepared to give his all on the pitch, given that Silva has not won a domestic cup competition since coming to Chelsea and playing in two finals. Hopefully, he will be able to end his curse this season if we manage to reach the final of the FA Cup.
