Mikel Arteta says he has ‘all the sympathy’ in the world for Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino
Only moments after his Arsenal side annihilated Chelsea 5-0 at The Emirates, Mikel Arteta showed compassion towards Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino. That’s the least you can do after using one of the biggest clubs in England as a GD booster.
Speaking to Arsenal’s official website after goals from Leandro Trossard, Ben White (2) and Kai Havertz (2) took the Blues apart, Arteta said he has sympathy for his Chelsea counterpart who was friends with him from their playing time together at PSG from back in the day.
“All the sympathy in the world with everything that he’s been through, everything that he’s doing, he knows that. I’ve been on the other side as well and nothing. He’s doing a great job, if you look at this team and analyse six, seven games of them, they deserve to win every match they play big games, big teams and they deserve to beat all of them. Hopefully things will turn around and be as he deserves.”
