21-year-old Italian central midfielder Cesare Casadei came off the bench in the dying embers of the Blues’ 4-1 loss to Liverpool. While he failed to make any substantial impact, the fact that the player gets minutes on the biggest of stages stands as a testament to his constant hard work behind the scenes.

Coming off for Cole Palmer, he finished what was surely not a memorable visit to Anfield.
