Player Chelsea sold this summer wins Serie A Player of the Month to showcase revival

Former Chelsea star Christian Pulisic wins EA Sports FC Serie A Player of the Month for December

Since moving to AC Milan, Christian Pulisic has been dropping brilliant performances, and the USA player has this time been rewarded with EA Sports FC Serie A Player of the Month for December.

Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund, never met expectations and was eventually sold to Milan last summer, joining other former teammates such as Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Olivier Giroud.

The 25-year-old has been in electric form this term and has revived his performance with six goals and five assists in 17 Serie A games this season. He has been their best player this campaign despite suffering an injury in the middle of the season.

Since leaving the club was his only chance to restart his career when things at Stamford Bridge failed to work out for him, he has been outstanding for them and if he continues in the same vein then it will be a big redemption for the forward.

On top of that, the Blues has plenty of youthful stars who were given more importance than the 25-year-old. It’s encouraging to see him rediscovering his enjoyment of football.

Milan are third in the Serie A standings, nine points behind Inter Milan, but they are eliminated from the Champions League after placing third in the group stage. Given that they haven’t won the Scudetto in the previous two seasons, Pulisic will be hoping to lead them to the title.

He is incredibly competent, and he plays with relish when he is in form. Milan have a great player who, at such a young age, captained the national team and led the USA to major tournament successes.

Maybe Mauricio Pochettino would have made use of him, considering his experience, so things might have turned out differently if he had stayed at Chelsea. However, it’s fantastic for him if he is succeeding. He has all the attributes to become Milan’s best player in the season to come alongside former Chelsea teammates.
