Chelsea willing to sell promising talent wanted by many clubs including West Ham United

Armando Broja becomes latest academy player Chelsea prepared to sell in January

Chelsea have put Armando Broja on sale as they look to make some revenue through the sale of academy players and will offload the striker if they receive a convincing offer.

According to Athletic, (h/t Mirror), the West Londoners are prepared to offload the Albanian striker, who has been targeted by the likes of Wolves, Fulham, and West Ham. The Blues value their academy player at around £50 million, and now it remains to be seen if the other clubs will be willing to spend that much on the striker.

The 21-year-old has two goals to his name this season after his comeback from spending a large spell on the sidelines with an anterior cruciate ligament injury earlier this season.

The Blues are looking to make as much profit because of their FFP. Broja’s time will certainly be up once we land a new striker as his game time will only keep diminishing.

It is anticipated to occur. We only have one striker on the pitch, not two, so we can’t contain them all at once. Our squad needs an experienced striker for next season. We have one of the best attacks in the Premier League, but our inefficiency in front of the goal has thwarted us from winning games.

It has become a routine for us now because we miss such easy chances so much that it frustrates the manager and fans. Some things need to change.

We cannot bring in a young player who subsequently struggles to score goals, so our board will have to sign a credible striker this time. But first, the team is pondering offloading some academy players, and Broja is currently the most recent player Chelsea have looked at selling in January.
