Rival PL boss explains what he noted about Chelsea after he ‘saw them’ in Manchester United defeat

Sean Dyche was in stands of Old Trafford to watch Chelsea lose to Manchester United

Sean Dyche was in the stands of Old Trafford and witnessed Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United as his side prepared to face Everton on Sunday.

Despite having numerous opportunities to turn the tide of the match, the Blues were disappointingly defeated by United; nonetheless, Chelsea’s inability to stay compact has primarily been caused by inexperience.

Mauricio Pochettino is looking into ways to improve the Blues’ performance, which appears to be turning into a habit where the team wins one game and then loses the next.

Chelsea will now face Everton, a side that was handed a 10-point deduction after breaking the Premier League transfer rule, but their performance in the past few weeks has seen them get out of their relegation zone.

The Toffees will be looking to emulate those displays when they welcome Chelsea, and Dyche has already assessed their performance as he was in the stands to watch Chelsea vs. United, and when asked about it, he told TalksSport:

“They might have some inexperience in the Premier League, but they’ve also got some experience in other leagues. They’ve got players who’ve been bought in for a lot of money, and usually there’s a reason why that is.”

“I saw them, and I think they’re still a good outfit, so we’ve got to be ready without a doubt… I saw them at Old Trafford, and they regathered themselves after a quiet first half. They regathered themselves in the second half and looked like an outfit.”

Since Dyche attended our game, he would have assessed the game to find how his side would neutralise our threat. Given their point deduction, the Toffees will approach every game as if it were their final one of the season. The Blues will need to play flawlessly in this game since they have excellent players who will punish us for even the smallest errors.

Everton is going to give this game everything they’ve got. They will be more aggressive because they are in the relegation zone while having a home advantage. With such a youthful Chelsea team, this will be a major test, and the Argentine manager will try to offset that with his style of play.
