Danish team ready to sell ‘next Rooney’ eyed by Chelsea and Man United

Copenhagen are ready offload Chelsea target Roony Bardghji

Chelsea have been handed a positive boost in their pursuit of talented teenager Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen.

According to 90 Min, (h/t Express), Copenhagen are open to selling their star player, and the forward has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

United are already pushing for his signing and have held talks with his agent recently. Bardghji came to the limelight when he scored a winner against United in a 4-3 win over them.

Since he has been on the radar of plenty of clubs, Copenhagen are ready to cash in on him. With plenty of interest, the club will look to make a high profit from the club that makes a high bid.

The versatile forward has made 17 appearances already with seven goals to his name this season, and if he continues to perform in fine form, then his stock will certainly rise by next summer.

The Blues have been signing highly-rated young players left and right, and Bardghji is another teenager who is top-rated on the club’s board.

However, there are several considerations to make before blindly going after young players, since the team already has a large number of these players who are either on loan or representing the youth team.

We already have a highly talented Kendry Paez, who has been phenomenal and will join the club when he turns 18. Chelsea’s board vision is reasonable, as they want to sign many young players for future projects.

In addition, we have to develop our starting lineup and place a particular priority on adding more seasoned players, who will be essential in assisting young players in evolving into seasoned players.

Bardghji is raw and isn’t prepared to compete at the Premier League level at this point. He will need at least two or three seasons to settle in the league first. So the Blues will have to decide if signing him is necessary because we already have enough young talent.
