“What a player”- Robert Sanchez lauds Chelsea summer signing after Tottenham display

Robert Sanchez praises Moises Caicedo performance after Chelsea win over Tottenham Hotspur

Moises Caicedo’s effort in Chelsea’s chaotic 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur won raves from Robert Sanchez. After conceding first, the Blues rallied and scored four goals, thanks to goals from Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.

Sanchez posted a photo of Caicedo on his Instagram story with the caption, “What a player and what a team.”

The former Brighton & Hove Albion also had a goal ruled out when he smashed into the bottom of the left corner, but Nicolas Jackson was offside with the play. Caicedo showed why we broke the British transfer record to sign, and the midfielder didn’t put a foot wrong and exerted his influence from midfield.

However, he had a debut to forget against West Ham United, but the 21-year-old bounced back and has since been one of the best players for the Blues and continues to impress from midfield.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, Caicedo has continued to be an essential member of Chelsea’s midfield, along with Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher. The trio controlled the game’s flow and exerted significant influence from midfield.

Despite being just 21, the midfielder has shown great maturity, and he has been worth every penny for the Blues and will continue to remain our key player for seasons to come.

Sanchez also had a great game but was unlucky to concede in the opening minutes of the match, and the ball was deflected off Levi Colwill while the rest of the game he was solid. Tottenham’s other two goals were ruled offside, while we remained on our toes until the final whistle and scored deserving goals.
