“The feedback I’m getting on Chelsea side is still the same”- Fabrizio Romano on Mauricio Pochettino’s future at Stamford Bridge

Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea trust Mauricio Pochettino project amid sacking rumours

Fabrizio Romano has dismissed rumours of Chelsea sacking Mauricio Pochettino and confirmed Pochettino has the full backing of the Chelsea board.

Since the appointment of the Argentine manager, Chelsea have endured a bumpy season so far. However, there has been a massive improvement in performance, but there is still a long way to go.

The 51-year-old, in the eyes of the Chelsea board, is the ideal candidate to take the West Londoners to the top of the table. If Chelsea decide to fire him after a few losses this season, it would be extremely foolish.

Although it will take several seasons, the changes have been made swiftly, and we have already shown how good we are by playing teams like Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal.

The former Paris Saint-Germain manager should have full backing from the board because he is the perfect manager to guide this side into becoming a dominant squad.

Romano has revealed on his YouTube channel regarding Pochettino’s sack rumour and said:

“The feedback is still the same on Chelsea’s side, and they trust Mauricio Pochettino. They believe he is the right man for this project. It’s a young team, and they need time. His job is not at risk at this point.”

The board will make their work even more complicated since hiring and firing managers isn’t necessary. They ought to completely support Pochettino, who has quickly enhanced the club’s performance, and with more time, we should see an imposing Chelsea team in the upcoming season. However, we must exercise perseverance.

Even though we were the superior team in the first half, our performance turned utterly awful against Newcastle in the second half and didn’t know why. The work that Pochettino has done shouldn’t be diminished by the loss; we have evolved and will keep growing as a team. Pochettino will soon turn this team into an unstoppable force it’s just a matter of time.
