Chelsea fans will be yearning to witness Christopher Nkunku in action donning the Blues jersey. They will have to be a little more patient for the Frenchman’s debut as he is nearing fitness.

According to Football. London, The 25-year-old has now started light training in Cobham and could be available before the start of December. Nkunku Chelsea’s debut was delayed after the forward picked up a knee injury during pre-season.

However, it was thought he could make a short cameo against the Pep Guardiola side, but it seems it will be too soon for the forward, who still needs time to recover. Nkunku is our most valuable player, so Chelsea needs to be patient with his recuperation and allow him as much time as possible to get fit.

After defeating their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 4-1, the Blues are beaming with belief and will meet Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Sunday with something to prove.

Nkunku, who won the Golden Boot of the Bundesliga last season, is tipped to bring much-needed experience to this young side, which has struggled to score goals.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping the Frenchman’s addition will be massive for the club as they hope to secure Champions League qualification before the end of the campaign.

Even if he returns from injury, he will take time to find his rhythm, and given that he will be playing in an entirely different league, we will have to be patient with Nkunku to find his form because having so much expectation before his return will put massive pressure on the forward to deliver on his first game.
