“Right now, on a global level”- Chelsea loanee names Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham as the best player in the world right now

Chelsea loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga claims Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham is the best in the world

Kepa Arrizabalaga is enjoying life on loan at Real Madrid back in his home country, enjoying watching Jude Bellingham play after a very mixed spell at Chelsea. To be fair to him, he improved massively over time but left just when it seemed to be promising.

The Chelsea shot-stopper is still on the books of the London club. However, he seems set to continue his football in Spain and it seems highly unlikely that he will come back to Stamford Bridge next season.

Not that the Blues will be complaining anyway. We have Robert Sanchez. The Spanish shot-stopper joined us from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer and has made a very impressive start to life.

What Real Madrid have with signing Chelsea goalkeepers, we will never know. First it was Thibaut Courtois. Now, Kepa Arrizabalaga, as an injury replacement for the Belgian. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics work once Courtois comes back though.

While Kepa might be playing for Real Madrid, the star for the Spanish giants has undoubtedly been Jude Bellingham. The English wonderkid has taken to La Liga like a fish to water and is absolutely on top of the world. Here is what Kepa had to say about his teammate.

“Right now, on a global level, I don’t know if I see anyone above Bellingham”

It might not be an overstatement to say that of all the talents to come through for England in recent years, the biggest one has to be Bellingham. He is a one-in-a-million player and his performances keep showing just that.

Real have been saved by the former Borussia Dortmund man’s heroics for way too long now, since the beginning of the season. However, this might not be sustainable in the long run when the Englishman’s numbers will understandably drop.

As they say though, make hay while the sun shines and Real Madrid will be hoping the sun keeps shining just like this for ages to come. Bellingham has to be the poster boy of the Spanish club’s next generation.

Bellingham is English and at some point down the line, he might want to make the move to the Premier League. This is where Chelsea need to be alert and ensure they have a competitive enough project by then to entice the Real Madrid superstar to come to London.
