Italian midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini is keen on working with the new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and the 31 year old player is set to leave his current club Sunderland after having fallen out of favor at the club.
The player was a regular feature for Italy during the European Championship under the Blues boss Antonio Conte and according to the player agent, he is keen on a move to Chelsea despite interest from Italian clubs. The player enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bologna last season, thus making his way into the Euros.
‘Do we have an agreement with the Granata [Torino]? Not at this time,’ he told GazzaMercato.
‘There has been contact made and there is interest.
‘Torino inquired about the costs and requirements of a possible deal, now we are both reflecting.
‘But it is the same for Fiorentina and Bologna, who are assessing the situation before moving forward.
‘Chelsea remains a dream.’
The player is known for being a consistent, energetic, hard-working and a versatile figure on the field. Further, the player is capable of defending his team as well as making an attacking run contributing to goals and assists. The player with his dribbling abilities, speed and agility is an excellent midfielder and will be a good addition to the Blues squad.
