If reports are to be believed, then Chelsea are set to sign Gonzalo Higuain as a replacement for Diego Costa if the latter decides on a move out of the Blues.
According to the Spanish outlet AS, Costa is looking for a move out of the Stamford bridge this summer and the player’s former club Atletico Madrid may be his favorable destination if he moves out of the club.
The report further suggests that if Costa does leave the Blues this summer then they will be willing to pay Higuain’s release clause. After an excellent season at Napoli, Higuain’s move to Chelsea will be an added benefit to the Blues. The Argentine has 36 goals to his credit out of 35 appearances for the Serie A club last season.
Chelsea have completed the signing of Michy Batshuayi into the squad and are further linked with number of player the notable of them being Graziano Pelle and Alvaro Morata.
