Chelsea has confirmed that one of the many players that they have will be loaned out again to Vitesse Arnhem for the 2016-17 season.
20 year old Nathan joined the Blue’s in 2015 from Atletico Paranaense. After joining, he was immediately loaned out to Vitesse and has not made a single appearance for the club yet. He made 19 appearances for the Dutch club and has scored 2 goals last season. Looks like Vitesse is pleased with the player’s performance because they have asked to keep him longer and the Blues have obliged.
Club has officially announced that Nathan will be returning to Vitesse for the next season on loan and will continue his development. This comes in the aftermath of several pundits criticizing Chelsea’s strategy of having a lot of their young players loaned out. Currently 28 Chelsea youngsters are out on loan and Nathan is one of them. The Brazilian is an under-20 player for his country and has 17 caps with 3 goals.
