In a surprising news, it was reported today that Chelsea are bidding for a player named Matt Miazga. The player is currently with Major League Soccer club Red Bulls. He is 21 years old and has made 38 league appearances. This was reported by Matt law. The reporter went on to mention that Chelsea believes the player has the quality that is required at Premier League.
This will come as a shock since it’s been quite some time that Chelsea has shopped for relatively unknown players that too from MLS. However ridiculous it may sound we cannot rule it out at the moment given the type of transfer that is taking place at Stamford Bridge. Few days back we had reported that Ramires was leaving for China and it is officially been announced that the Brazilian has joined Jiangsu Suning in a £20 million deal. While it sounded like a random rumor at the time, the realization of such deals probably will bring chills down the spines of Chelsea fans.
