Alex Teixeira has scored 26 goals from 26 matches this season. No wonder Chelsea are chasing this player for quite a while now. The Brazilian is however reported to be staying put in Ukraine for the remaining of the season and a move may only be possible in the summer.

Given those circumstances, Chelsea were expecting to sign the player in January but the Shakhtar coach, Mircea Lucescu has said that Teixeira will stay with the Ukranian club at least till summer.
The club also expects that the player keeps improving and in summer he can fetch a handsome return for the club through transfer. The player himself has not made any comments about his desire to stay or move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
