Chelse Have No Place For Returning Player

Chelsea are infamous for buying players, hardly using them and then struggle to sell them on to other clubs. It’s rude to name names, but for the sake of this article I will mention one. Marko Marin. The player joined the Blues back in the summer of 2012, but has only made two starts in the Premier League which forced the club to send the German on loan to try and prove himself to the Chelsea hierarchy. Or at the very least, the Sevilla staff.

However, that doesn’t look to have worked as Talksport have reported. Marin experienced a successful season-long loan spell at the Champions League hopefuls, however, it hasn’t been enough to earn a permanent move to sunny Spain. It also doesn’t look like Jose Mourinho is particularly fond of the 25-year-old and, unless he does something incredible in pre-season, the Blues will probably be parting ways with Marko.

They’re right to as well. For the sake of the players career in all honesty. At this moment in time he doesn’t stand a chance getting ahead of Oscar, Willian, Mohamed Salah, Eden Hazard or Andre Schurrle. A couple of them don’t actually play in his position, but Mourinho usually gives the attacking trio freedom to roam the pitch. That’s why I’ve mentioned Salah, Hazard and Schurrle. If Marin doesn’t get game time then what’s the point in ruining his career?

I don’t want to be mean to him as I like him as a person and as a player because I like his attitude and he can be pretty useful. However, I don’t think he’s good enough to be a part of this Chelsea team and where they want to end up. The club can do much better than him and they know it.
