London giants face off at The Emirates: The Odds

published :

Chelsea take on Arsenal at the Emirates this weekend and look terrific value at 3.5 with bet365 to beat their arch rivals.

Pre season there is now way that they would have been available to back at those odds, but the layers have been far from convinced by them this season despite the fact that they sit top of the league.

They seem to have based the odds around the fact that Roberto Di Matteo’s men have not faced any of the major sides in their league games so far and were held 0-0 in their last away game at QPR before struggling to beat Stoke 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

However Arsenal have won just two of the last eight home Premier League games against the Blues (W2 D3 L3) and have scored just six goals in their last seven league games at home to them.

Chelsea have also kept four clean sheets in the Premier League this season, more than any other side and that suggests they are capable of winning this despite the fact that Arsenal are in top form at present and are themselves unbeaten in the league this season.

The early performances of Eden Hazard for Chelsea this season have been terrific, and he looks a bit of value in the first goalscorer market at 11 with bet365.

Frank Lampard, who has the added advantage of being the penalty taker, also looks worth a saver at 12 with Boylesports in the same market and can be backed at a very tempting 5 with Boylesports to score anytime.

I fancy Chelsea to edge what is going to be a real battle 2-1, and that scoreline is a 12 chance with bet365 and Beftred.

Over 2,5 goals also looks a pretty solid punt at 1.91 with Boylesports.
