Chelsea All Singing To The Same Toon.

After a slight scare in midweek against Reading, we showed our star quality on the last few months, that “never say die” attitude.

Fair enough, The Royals are no Barcelona or Bayern Munich, but they put up a great fight against us on Wednesday, and we again needed a bit of luck to scoop the three points, but that will be need if we want to scoop a first Premier League crown since 09/10.

There is no doubt who has stole the show after the first two fixtures. Eden Hazard has set-up five of our 6 goals, and is quickly having a similar effect to Juan Mata at the start of last season. With Mata, Oscar, Torres, and soon to be Moses, still ready to get into full swing for us, there is no reason why we should think about surrendering any points just yet.

However, Newcastle stand in our way this weekend, and after their 2-0 victory in this fixture last year, Di Matteo will not take them lightly, as they are also defending their own 100% record after an impressive opening day victory against Tottenham.

John Terry might have to sit out, paving the way for a Luiz-Cahill partnership for the first time this season, against the exciting Ba and Cisse front two of Newcastle.

There are bound to be goals in this fixture, and most fixtures this season, especially with the attacking talent that has been brought in, to the tune of £60m.

I was quite naïve when predicting we would keep it tight against Reading, and although got the two goal win right, it was 4-2 rather than the 2-0 I imagined.

That in mind, im backing the Chelsea & Over 2.5 goals at a massive 11/10 this weekend, and Yohan Cabaye to score @ 7/1 is high too.

In the scores market, 2-2 @14/1 and 3-2 @20/1 are possibilities, whilst Newcastle to win by 1 goal @ 7/1 is a nice cover bet should the worst happen.

My favourite bets are:

Chelsea + Over 2.5 @ 11/10
Cabaye AGS @ 7/1
Over 3.5 goals @ 7/2

Prediction: Chelsea 3 (Torres, Hazard, Ramires) Newcastle 2 (Cabaye, Cisse)
