Chelsea have made strides to strengthen this transfer window, have they not? After securing the signing of Marko Marin from Werder Bremen, they quickly announced the arrival of Eden Hazard from Lille last week.

Season Review: “I Juan To Improve” – Mata

Mata clocked up 54 appearances for Chelsea in his debut season, impressive on all accounts since his £24m move from Valencia in the summer.

He scored twelve goals, including one on his debut versus Norwich, and notched a notable twenty-one assists also.

As well as scoring on his league debut, he netted the second on his Champions League debut, against Bayer Leverkusen in early September.

Right Back To Business…

With Jose Bosingwa set for an exit from Chelsea. The next logical signing would be a right-sided defender, and here, I’ll look at a few of the many names that have been mentioned.
