Chelsea striker could leave …

According to the Mirror, Nicholas Anelka is thought to be open to leaving Stamford Bridge for pastures new.
The French star could only make the substitutes bench in the opening game, much to the player’s frustration.
Having made his name at Arsenal before joining Real Madrid, Anelka joined the Blues from Bolton in 2008 for £15m, since joining the club his only real competition has come from Didier Drogba but with the arrival of Fernando Torres and the way Daniel Sturridge has developed plus the prospective signing of Romelu Lukaku means that the Frenchman’s first-team appearances could be limited.
It will be interesting to see if his first club PSG make an official move for the striker, if not he could be another player offered to Spurs as part of a deal for Luka Modric.

  1. Man City has certainly found a new bag of tricks in Aguero. The moment he hit the pitch yesterday everything changed. While Chelsea is bogged down with more of the same; City has proof that one specialized player can make the difference. So what’s the answer for Chelsea? We need someone who plays wide as a winger, but can also cut in and unlock defences. Someone who can provide a final killer pass but is accurate when called on to shoot. AVB; it’s obvious; we are talking about Neymar.
