The Blues could soon be known as Belgium national team’s training school, as Kevin de Bruyne hopes to copy Thibaut Courtoisis by moving from Genk to Chelsea.
The young Belgian midfielder has said discussions are taking place about a possible move, like Courtosis the highly-rated 20-year-old was part of Genk’s title winning side last season.
There have been a lot of rumours linking de Bruyne with a move to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer, but it now looks like it could become a reality.
Should Chelsea wish to loan out the prospective signing, his current side Genk are thought to want a clause that he would not join one of their domestic rivals.
