Yesterday a fee was agreed with Genk for Thibaut Courtois, and now Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that the player is having his medical.
Andre Villa-Boas told www.chelseafc.com: “At this moment he is having a medical but has not yet agreed personal terms.”
The young keeper starred for Genk last season as they won the championship, he was even named player of the year.
Should the player join the Blues it is thought that he could be sent out on loan to gain more first-team expereince, one name already being linked is Atletico Madrid who are looking for replacement for David de Gea who has joined Manchester United.
