Mauricio Pochettino provides a weird analogy after using Chelsea star as an inverted fullback

Before implementing this approach, it’s obvious the Argentine had to first test it out during the training session because you have to think a lot about whether the tactical tweak will benefit the squad in the matches. A team’s composition shouldn’t always consist of its finest players; instead, it should be made up of players who complement one another well.
We have played to the best of our abilities ever since Pochettino reversed Cucurella and eventually managed to bring the best out of the team. We appear to be a less-pressured, competitive team that is constantly prepared to take advantage of the opposition’s errors.
