Chelsea star Noni Madueke records two goals and assists in England U21 7-1 annihilation of Luxembourg

Noni Madueke has been in blistering form during the international break for the England U21 side and has recorded three goals in the last two games. In the 7-1 demolition of Luxembourg, the Chelsea starlet produced two goals and an assist.

Following the game, the Chelsea forward didn’t take time to make sure that his Instagram fans knew when he posted his photo with a caption of ‘’4 G/A. Christ is King’’ and a finger-crossing emoji.

’4 G/A means goals and assists, that means two netted two goals and provided two assists. Madueke’s international tally for the U21 team is commendable. The forward has also been spectacular for Chelsea this season despite not getting enough game time, as he has netted five goals across all tournaments.

Maduek has hit his form at the right moment as we head into a crucial period of the season where losing a match will have a massive dent in our hopes of securing European qualifications for next season.

He has been a big difference-maker off the bench, and hopefully, he gets more minutes on the pitch because his recent exploits merit him more games, and Mauricio Pochettino will be seeing his performance and acknowledging how good he has been.

It’s time Madueke gets more minutes on field.

The Argentine manager can balance both Cole Palmer and Madueke’s minutes on the pitch, though, Palmer has been the preferred choice of the Argentine manager, but he will additionally have to provide the former Manchester City rest as well.

Noni Madueke has five goals this season in all competitions.

In order to maintain his stellar form, Madueke also needs a greater amount of playing time. Moreover, by contributing off the bench, he offered Pochettino more justification to give him some.

More Chelsea news

He’s been developing smoothly, and if he keeps up his stellar development, he ought to be a starting player for the team. Despite not playing much time on the pitch, he has shown rapid growth. Hopefully, as the season approaches its most important months, Pochettino will give him a fair amount of action on the field.
