“He made the difference”- Axel Disasi names the Chelsea player who inspired 3-2 win vs Newcastle United

Axel Disasi acknowledges Mykhaylo Mudryk performance in Chelsea 3-2 win vs Newcastle United

Axel Disasi credited Chelsea ace Mykhaylo Mudryk for his performance and the impact he made after coming off the bench. The Ukrainian forward replaced Raheem Sterling in the 71st minute and added a goal just five minutes into the game.

Despite Mudryk’s recent hardships to stay on the field and his lack of usage in previous games, Mauricio Pochettino clearly knows he has a gifted attacker and wants to carefully develop the young player.

Although Mudryk has always displayed moments of brilliance during games, he is still very raw and will require time and patience to mature into a player of his quality at such a young age. The forward has already scored six goals in all competitions this season.

And his recent performance against Newcastle was another testament to his talent, and given the impact he made after coming on, he made a big difference. Disasi also acknowledged his performance and said via Chelsea website:

‘‘When Misha came in, he made the difference, so this showed that all the players can make a difference—we are all together! It’s a good message for the group. I hope that in the future, the team will continue like this. We’re a group, and everyone has to stay focused.’’

Patience and perseverance!!

The Mudryk goal was excellent. The goal was scored with so much confidence when he intercepted the ball from Conor Gallagher and then dazzled past the Newcastle defence, rounded the goalkeeper before putting the ball in the net from a tight angle.

He will feel a lot more reassured after this performance, and he has begun to demonstrate his goal-scoring characteristics in the games. This will also help him address his other shortcomings in the game and soon we will have a complete player at our disposal.

We have a gifted youngster on our hands; all he needs now is support from his supporters, and he will show off all that he has to offer. With Mudryk, Pochettino wants to maintain discipline and allow him time to elevate his game. Even while he might not start every game, he will earn the minutes he plays, and once he is playing flawlessly, he will undoubtedly be in every starting lineup.
