Chelsea reveals Armando Broja, Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia are nearing full fitness

As per the club’s official website, Chelsea have provided a positive update on the fitness of Armando Broja, Benoit Badiashile, and Romeo Lavia, claiming that they are set to return to action once the international break is over.

Broja, Badiashile, and Lavia did grass training with other players who have not been called up for international duties for the September games. This is good news as it accelerates their return to the big time, giving Mauricio Pochettino more options.

Broja, who picked up a season-ending injury last season, has been seen as part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, as the Argentine manager has full faith in him. Also, we do need another striker who can find the goals and challenge Nicolas Jackson for the first XI spot.

Lavia, who was signed in the summer window but was deemed unfit to start any game, is now undergoing conditioning to gain full fitness, while Badiashile, who sustained a hamstring injury at the end of last season, will also be available for Chelsea’s next game.

Broja’s arrival will be a relief for Chelsea, as they will have another option in the centre-forward role alongside Nicolas Jackson. Meanwhile, Christopher Nkunku is set to remain on the sidelines until November. Chelsea will also welcome Badishile, who showed promising performances last season and will hope to be integrated into the starting eleven. Lavia, who was signed from Southampton, will also add depth in midfield after Carney Chukwuemeka.

The fact that all of these players may be available for Chelsea’s upcoming games gives manager Mauricio Pochettino alternatives across the entire roster. Broja, a bright striker who will undoubtedly improve under Pochettino, will aim to regain his footing once he is fully fit. We have experienced a lot of injuries this year, so the return of the players indicated above is undoubtedly a significant boost for us.

Axel Disasi, who has struggled to deliver consistently, may be replaced by Badiashile, and Thiago Silva, Levi Colwill, and the French star could all provide an outstanding defence. Lavia will also give the midfield depth and flexibility.
