Report: Chelsea keen to fast-track another six departures this summer

Chelsea planning to ‘accelerate’ departure of Romelu Lukaku and five others this summer

Romelu Lukaku and five others are on the list of players Chelsea are looking to accelerate the departure of this summer, according to the Evening Standard (h/t Express).

The Blues are hoping to offload the Belgium international and some other stars before the end of the ongoing transfer window. As things stand, the 30-year-old is not in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.

Along with the striker, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi are also not wanted by the Argentine manager. The Stamford Bridge side are also open to parting ways with Trevoh Chaloba and Ian Maatsen.

Conor Gallagher is another name on Chelsea’s not wanted list. The midfielder is still available on the market and could be forced to leave the club in the coming weeks.

The England international started in the Blues’ opening game of the season against Liverpool. Enzo Fernandez played alongside the 23-year-old. However, the West London club have bolstered their midfield with the arrival of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia is also set to be our new player.
