Barcelona star Ansu Fati looking for late summer transfer with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur keen

Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati is hoping to make a last-minute transfer decision, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur seen as preferred destinations.

According to Mundo Deportivo, (h/t Metro), Fati, who has been struggling to get enough minutes on the pitch, is seriously considering leaving Barcelona. Premier League giants Chelsea. Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund have submitted offers for the youngster and can offer him a way out.

Plenty of speculations have suggested that Fati will remain at Barca for another year. But the 20-year-old has been urged by his father to try his luck somewhere else after a lack of playing time.

Fati has largely been featured as a substitute this season, and Barcelona are keen on signing former Chelsea star Joao Felix. The potential arrival of Felix could further hurt the Barcelona man’s minutes on the pitch.

Xavi has maintained that Fati is a part of Barcelona and will stay with the team, though. However, his post-injury performance for the club have raised questions about his dependability. Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Tottenham could take advantage if he decides to leave, as the Blues are hoping to add another attacking player. Fati, who can operate as a striker and on the left wing, will benefit the club immensely.

Barcelona star Ansu Fati is attracting interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

He has a history of injuries and hasn’t been in the finest of shapes, but we should expect him to improve given that he’s only 20 and giving up on landing such as him would be an awful decision. It is worth remembering that the age of 17, he made his way through the Barcelona senior team and became a star player. Despite his recurrent injuries, Chelsea could land themselves a potential world beater.
