Chelsea keen to achieve key objective in order to loan out promising Cobham starlet

Tino Anjorin to be loaned out by Chelsea this summer with hopes that he will be a first-team player

As per Evening Standard, Chelsea have agreed to loan out young attacking midfielder Tino Anjorin with the hope that his long-term future is at Stamford Bridge.

Both parties have agreed to keep the player’s name on the books here. He will now have to find a club that can offer him a season-long loan deal in the coming days.

Anjorin was on loan at Championship side Huddersfield Town for the last 18 months. In that period, he made only 17 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and assisting one (Transfermarkt).

The 21-year-old is an attacking midfielder who can operate as a support striker and a winger on either side. He has had a spell at Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow as well.

The England U20 international is a tricky player with the ball at his feet. He is good on the dribble, has the pace to make runs in behind the opposition defence, and is technically strong.

Chelsea have a lot of young players on their books who have the promise to do something good in the coming years. The Academy has produced some of the best talents in the country and Europe.

Anjorin has the talent and potential to possibly play for the Blues at a senior level in a few years’ time. So, it makes sense why the club are only prepared to send him on loan this summer.

The ideal loan move would be where the 21-year-old gets regular game time. Once he gets that, Chelsea can analyse his game with a bit more detail and see where he is at come the summer of 2024.

The other preference would be that the club that takes him on loan is an English club of the top-flight or the second division at the least.
