Dusan Vlahovic to Chelsea is a possibility but Arsenal are also in the race
According to Football.London, Chelsea are in talks with Juventus to sign striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United also in the race.
It is revealed that the player is keen on a move to England. He is discussing a possible move with United and Arsenal. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can match what their rivals can offer for the former Fiorentina marksman.
The 23-year-old arrived at Juventus in January last year. Arsenal were interested in signing him as well, but the striker wanted a move to Turin.
In the 2022/23 season, Vlahovic scored 14 goals and assisted four in 42 appearances in all competitions. Although those returns are not rosy in sight, he played in a Juventus side that wasn’t filled with superb talents all over the field.
Chelsea have, a few moments ago, announced the signing of Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson. Although he is a decent addition to the squad, the Blues cannot depend on him to solve their number nine issue next season.
Hence, a player like Vlahovic, who has experience, pedigree and is still only 23, can be an even better addition to the squad. It is always good to have two very good strikers at the helm for the manager to choose from.
The Serbian international can offer pace in behind, relentless running of the channels, scoring goals at a good rate if chances are created and a good link-up playability.

Not sure about Arsenal, but we know that United are in the market for a striker. They might pounce on the opportunity to sign Vlahovic if it all opens up. Hence, Chelsea must make sure they are ahead in the race and agree on terms with the player and Juventus for a potential deal.
