Ben Jacobs reveals that Chelsea have received three offers for Romelu Lukaku

Ben Jacobs, a well-known journalist, has stirred up excitement among Chelsea fans by revealing that the club has received three substantial offers for the highly sought-after striker, Romelu Lukaku.

According to Jacobs, Inter Milan, Lukaku’s current club, has presented the lowest bid for his services thus far. Lukaku’s tenure at Stamford Bridge appears to have come to a premature end, as the Belgian forward has made it clear that he envisions his future away from the London club.

Despite rejoining Chelsea just two years ago, Romelu Lukaku is eager to continue his career at Inter Milan, where he played a pivotal role in the team’s journey to the Champions League final last season. Although off the bench, he did a pretty good job at helping his club.

However, as of now, Chelsea have not received an offer that they deem worthy of a permanent transfer or even another loan deal. Alternative suitors have emerged, potentially intensifying the pressure on the Serie A side.

According to Jacobs, Chelsea is in serious talks with three potential bidders for Lukaku’s services. While Inter Milan remains a viable option, their current bid falls short of Chelsea’s expectations. He still remains Lukaku’s preferred option though.

Although it was previously rumoured that manager Mauricio Pochettino might be open to utilizing Lukaku in the upcoming season, the player’s firm stance against representing the club should be enough to dissuade any inclusion.

In light of Lukaku’s strong desire to leave Chelsea, his return to pre-season training has been postponed in the hope that a resolution regarding his future can be reached by then. There is a widespread feeling that the player will leave the club imminently.

For Chelsea, the potential departure of Lukaku could be seen as an opportunity rather than a setback. The Blues have proven their ability to thrive even in the absence of star players in the past. However, the fact that they do need a striker does not change.
