“Not for sale”- Serie A honcho dismisses summer exit for Chelsea linked superstar

Juventus star and Chelsea summer target Dusan Vlahovic is not for sale

Juventus sporting director Francesco Calvo has stated that Dusan Vlahovic is not for sale, regardless of Chelsea FC’s interest.

The Blues have made acquiring an elite striker their top objective for the summer and the Serbian is one of the names on their list. Vlahovic has not enjoyed the best of seasons in Turin but remains a highly-rated striker in the Italian top flight.

Earlier, it was rumoured that the Blues had made an €80 million deal for the Serbian striker. But transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that the West Londoners had not made any approach for the 23-year-old.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Serie A striker Victor Osimhen but have yet to make an offer. Meanwhile, Harry Kane is another target for West Londoners and they will be hoping Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment can convince the England skipper to join Chelsea.

On the other hand, Romelu Lukaku, who is on loan at Inter Milan, wants to stay at the Serie A club after his loan period finishes. Calvo confirmed to DAZN that the former Fiorentina striker is determined to stay at Juventus and that his remarks are cited by transfer guru Romano on Twitter:

“I can say that Dušan Vlahović is not for sale. We’re so happy about his commitment; we trust him for the future. Chelsea have not submitted any bid for Vlahović as of now.”

The 23-year-old Vlahovic appears to be a decent purchase for the club, although he isn’t in such good form at the moment. He can undoubtedly develop into a world-class striker under Mauricio Pochettino if we are able to get him.

And, with 10 points deducted from Juventus, it is unlikely that they will compete in the Champions League next season. Unfortunately, we are not in the position to take advantage of it ourselves.

More Chelsea News:

Even if it is not true, €80 million seems excessive for him, and perhaps we can add more cash and bring in more experienced strikers like Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen.
