Ex Chelsea hero set to leave current club amidst touted Stamford Bridge return

Transfer News: Chelsea target Eden Hazard all set to leave Real Madrid

According to Marca (h/t Express), Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard is all set to leave Spanish giants as he thinks he has no future with them as he is not able to find any game time under Carlos Ancelotti.

The Belgian has been linked with a move back to Stamford Bridge of late where he was fan favourites during his time there. He scored 110 goals in 352 games, making him one of the finest attackers to ever grace the English top flight.

The winger was regarded as one of the world’s best players when he signed for Real in June 2019. But he has not been able to impress and has looked a completely different player since completing his £89million move to Santiago Bernabeu. Injuries have also not really helped his cause in Madrid.

Hazard has made 11 appearances this season for Madrid and is yet to open his account for them this time around. He has only one goal to his name this season which came for the Belgian national team.

Last month, Hazard was willing to fight for his place under Ancelotti as he made up his mind to stay put despite transfer speculations. He wanted to fight for his place at Real and wanted to prove that Real fans that he still has in him to perform on the big stage.

But Ancelotti admitted in a recent press conference that the 30-year-old has slipped down the pecking order. And with the rise of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, it looks very difficult for him to make a mark at Madrid.
