“I have a good feeling” – Tuchel eases fears regarding key Chelsea star’s injury after Leicester win

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel eases fears on N’Golo Kante injury

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has eased any fear regarding the injury of N’Golo Kante. The diminutive midfielder was hooked off in the first half, thereby sparking major concerns over his participation in the next two games.

It was not exactly plain sailing for Chelsea but they were able to banish the demons from the FA Cup loss and produce a much-needed win. Those three points were vital in pushing us to third place and leave Champions League qualification in our own hands.

Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho’s goals meant that Chelsea had enough to pull through despite the goal from Kelechi Iheanacho. Chelsea now have one remaining game in the league against Aston Villa and they will be a bit worried about one of their star men walking off the field in discomfort.

Nonetheless, Tuchel has eased some of that tension on Kante’s possible injury.

‘I don’t know yet. We will check them tomorrow. I have a good feeling with NG [Kante], he said he felt something and didn’t want to risk a muscle injury, so I hope for Sunday, the same with Kai.’
