Transfer News: Agent of Chelsea ace Jorginho says that Juventus are not a good fit for him

According to transfer news from Football.london, the agent of Jorginho feels that the Chelsea midfielder is not a good fit for Juventus. The Italian has been linked with a move to Juve for a while now but his agent has come out and poured cold water on that.

The 29-year-old moved to Chelsea in 2018 from Napoli, along with manager Maurizio Sarri. Jorginho struggled in his first season as he looked a bit slow for the fast-paced nature of the Premier League. His form improved over the last season and he was one of Frank Lampard’s most trusted players.

This season, however, despite starting strongly, he did go off the radar a bit. Under Thomas Tuchel, he made a strong start but the duo of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic has fared better in a two-man central midfield in recent games, putting Jorginho’s position in relative doubt.

Juventus could look at a summer of change after a disappointing season so far. They were knocked out of the Champions League by Porto and are well on course to miss out on the Serie A title. There could be some transfer activit which could involve Jorginho.

However, despite the links, his agent has cleared the air regarding any move.

“He is a top player. But he does not have the right qualities for the current style of game at Juventus.”

It remains to be seen what Chelsea make of the situation and Jorginho’s future. They do have Kante, Kovacic and the young Billy Gilmour at their disposal.

There are also the likes of Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek who are out on loan and performing well. Thomas Tuchel will have to evaluate his midfield options at the end of the season.
