John Terry thanks Thiago Silva for his time at Chelsea

Former Chelsea legend John Terry has sent his heartfelt wishes to Thiago Silva for his future and thanked him for his time at West London after the Brazilian announced in an emotional video that he would be leaving Chelsea after the end of the season.

Terry, who is one of the greatest Chelsea players, posted a video of Silva on his Instagram handle with a profound caption ”What an incredible journey. There are still a few more games to enjoy together. Love you’’ and Blues emoji.

Silva, who has one year of contract left on his Chelsea deal, will leave as a free agent after the end of the campaign, and it remains to be seen which club he will join. Silva became one of the most beloved players among the fans and etched himself as a legendary player.

The centre-back joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain when he was 35, which raised questions about whether he was fit enough to command the Chelsea backline. After signing for the club for the rest of his history, the 39-year-old won the Champions League in his inaugural campaign with the Blues.

Despite his advanced age, he appeared to settle into a routine that made him the go-to centre defender. Chelsea will be disappointed to see him again next season since, even at 39, he was a valuable member of the team in a variety of capacities.

Terry wants Silva to know how much he and his tenure at the club are respected by the former Chelsea great. because, even if he is in his early 40s, he knows how amazing a Brazilian has been for the team. It’s a sign of how much Terry, a club legend, valued the player’s contributions to the squad and his tenure. Silva gave Chelsea his all on the pitch, and Chelsea supporters will miss him.

Chelsea fans could have wished that had Silva joined early, he would have played alongside Terry, and it would have been a dream partnership at the back given the amount of commitment and leadership both players could have brought to the club.
