Joao Cancelo calls Christian Pulisic the toughest opponent he has faced
According to Football.london, Joao Cancelo has named Chelsea star Christian Pulisic as the toughest opponent he has faced. The Manchester City full-back felt that Pulisic was the trickiest winger he has faced in the Premier League.
It has been a season of disappointment for the American ace as he has found no place in Thomas Tuchel’s new Chelsea side. Prior to that, he was one of the best players under Frank Lampard.
Cancelo has been a revelation this season as he has taken his game to new heights. When he was asked about the toughest opponent that he has faced in the Premier League, Pulisic’s name came out.
“It may sound strange but for me the most difficult winger I have faced in the Premier League is Pulisic from Chelsea. He is a very skilful and fast player with the ball with quick dribbles. So for me he is the most difficult winger I have played.’

While it is good to hear that Pulisic can cause one of the better full-backs in the league trouble, he will need to be on the field to do any of that. Even Thomas Tuchel claimed that he has not afforded Pulisic that many opportunities. One can only hope the situation gets better for Pulisic given the talent he is.
