Chelsea fans ask Mason Mount to bring Declan Rice to Chelsea

It was a night to remember for Chelsea star Mason Mount. The youngster was instrumental for England and even got on the scoresheet as the Three Lions put Iceland to the sword.

To make the night even more special, former Chelsea youth star and Mount’s closest friend Declan Rice also found the back of the net.

Having played together since the age of eight, it was the stuff of dreams to see the duo run the England midfield yesterday night.

Speaking after the game, it was clear that it was a special moment for the pair who are the thickest of friends. While Mount stayed at Chelsea, Rice was let go at the age of 14.

He however joined West Ham United and went on to resurrect his career. As destiny would have it, the Blues are now keen to bring him back to the Bridge.

If yesterday’s performance is another to go by, one can see why Chelsea is keen to rekindle the partnership at the club level.
