Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly looking to sign Chelsea’s star midfielder Oscar next summer and for the same, the Express Sports has reported that they are ready to pay a hefty amount of £39m.
Oscar, who was criticized for his poor run of form last season, has become an integral part of Chelsea’s team this season and has cemented his place ahead ahead of Cesc Fabregas. The same source has stated that the Italians are ready to offer £39m for the player in order to land him at San Siro next summer.
The Rossoneri expect a Chinese consortium to complete a takeover of the club by the end of the year, and in turn, they will be hoping to have significant transfer funds to rebuild the squad by next season. It is obvious that COnte will be making some significant changes in the side, espcially in defence, next season and will be looking to deploy his old school 3-5-2 formation, and in that case; the Brazilian might loose his spot.
OScar, who joined the Blues back in 2012 for a reported fee of £19.35, has started all the games for the Blues, but one, this season. Just like Chelsea, the Milan club is also chasing the Champions League spot and up until now, they are trailing behind the league leader Juventus by five points.
It seems like Milan are onto somthing big, as they are also reportedly chasing the Manchester United’s star Memphis Depay and Tottenham’s Harry Kane. Besides all of it, they also tried to sign Cesc Fabregas in the recently concluded transfer window and now, it’s Oscar.
