Chelsea winger Marko Marin is set to join Greek outfit Olympiacos and is close to complete a deal. The player underwent medical yesterday at Greece.
Marin joined the Blues in 2012, however, he made only six Premier League appearances for the Blues, having being sent on loan to four different teams- Sevilla, Fiorentina, Anderlecht and Trabzonspor. The 27-year-old has had varying success in each of these clubs.
The player made 24 league appearances for the Turkish side last season, having found the net twice. The player seemed happy with the move having finally headed out of the Blues on a permanent deal rather than on loan stints to various clubs.
Chelsea have so far signed only two players this summer, however, the Blues manager is now busy with both incomings and outgoings of the summer. As such the Blues are currently linked with Juan Cuadrado’s loan move to Juventus.
