Chelsea have completed the signing of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, however, they did let the transfer move for Romleu Lukaku fell through.
Lukaku is looking for an escape route from Everton this summer however the Toffees have taken the main step to avoid the player’s move out of the club this summer as they slapped a £75m price tag on the player.
The Blues backed off after knowing of the player’s transfer fee set by major investor Farhad Moshiri on the Belgian player hence opting to sign Batshuayi instead of Lukaku. The player is now ready to hold talks with Everton for his move out of the club as well as the price tag that has been stuck to his move out of the club.
The Blues offered £30m for the player, although the same was rejected by the club further the player (and many others) believe that he will not be able to move out of the club with the extreme price tag that has been put for his transfer.
