FIFA Push Technology Over The Line. But, How Far Should It Go?

Lampard vs. Germany, Devic vs. England, Hurst vs. Germany. Some of the most important goals (or misses) in history, have been fatal, and will be forever remembered in history.

Now, FIFA have decided it is time to act. There are two systems that have been approved for use, and news is that the Premier League are keen to start using it as early as the 2013/2014 season.

Sturridge’s Chance To Shine

After narrowly missing out on the English Euro 2012 squad, Sturridge has been handed a massive chance to shine on the world stage this summer, after being named in the 18-man Great Britain squad for the Olympics this summer.

A collection of the world’s young starlets will take centre stage this summer as they battle it out at London 2012, and will play Senegal, UAE, and Uruguay in the Group Stages later this month.

Transfer Rumours of the Day…

With former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas taking charge of Tottenham today, there are rumours that he is interested in taking Daniel Sturridge along with him as one of his first signings.

There is talk of a £10m bid being lodged, as AVB is apparently going to be given a £70m warchest to work with once Luka Modric has been sold. With us being in the market for Modric, could this work for us and could be negotiate a Sturridge + £ for him to join us? Im sure we will find out in time.

Torres. Are goals the be all and end all?

11 goals in 50 appearances for Chelsea last season, albeit 17 of those were from the bench. But is that all the Spanish wizard offers? No.

12 assists, and countless other chances created by him, shows there is much more to the man than just a goals per game ratio.
